We have many home-grown teams based at Watton Sports Centre, and there is something for everyone.

Watton United FC (formerly RAF Watton FC) played in the East Anglian League from 1949-50, joining the Anglian Combination in 1964, when it was formed as an amalgamation of the East Anglian League and the Norfolk & Suffolk League. They were champions in 1967, 1968 and 1986.
They were promoted to the Eastern Counties Football League at level nine of the English football league system in 1986 and when a second division was created, in 1988, played in the Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division, still at level nine.
The club resigned from the league in the late 1990s (1999/2000 season), returning to the Anglian Combination in Division 2, the same year winning the Junior Cup at Carrow Road under the guidance of David Wilkins.
In 2000-01, they were promoted to Division 1. They were Division 1 champions in 2003-04 under manger Robbie Taylor and were promoted to the Premier Division.
They were relegated at the end of the 2005-06 season, but returned to the Premier Division in 2007-08 as Division 1 runners up under the management of Mike Derbyshire and Vince Harwood. The same Year Runers Up in the Mummery Cup.
The reserves were reformed in 2000/01 after the club pulled the first team out of the Ridgeons league. They won Reserve Division 3 that year. In 2008-09 they were promoted from Division 5 to Division 4 finishing sixth. Relegated in 2010-11 to Division 5 again.
The 'A' team play in Central and South Norfolk Crown & Fire League, but pulled out of Division 2 due to lack of interest at the end of the 2008/09 season. They reformed in the 2011-12 season under Chris Nurses management.
The club formed an over 35's Veterans team in the 2008/09 season. They currently play in the Barnham Broom Norfolk FA Veterans League, but were relegated in the 2011-12 season to the Championship.

Watton United have entered a team in the new Norwich & District Sunday Under 19 Development League. The team is managed by Paul Jones and Tony Hogarth
Each team is allowed 3 overage players, 5 rolling substitutes and games are played on Sunday mornings, all KO`s are 10:30.

Watton Junior Football Clubs provides football for male and female players from under 7 to under 17 dependent upon player availability.
Our ethos is to encourage boys and girls to play football with the opportunity to release their full potential with an understanding of fair play. We consider junior football to be involved in youth development on level par with other youth organisations such as the scouts, girl guides, army cadets and other such groups.
Watton Junior Football Club is affiliated to Norfolk FA and the Watton Sports Centre and as such has access to all of the excellent facilities at the Centre.

We are a small but friendly outdoor bowling Club. Our season runs from April to September and though out the winter we hold Saturday coffee mornings to enable our members to keep in touch with each other out of season.
We are entered into three leagues, two of which are played in the evenings and the third is usually played on a Thursday afternoon. We hold many friendly games throughout the season and also have some cup games.
We hold fun days which incorporate target bowls and "round robins". Our roll up days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 2.00 - 4.00. All are welcome. We have our own website - just google the name of the bowls Club and you will find it.

WATTON TABLE TENNIS CLUB
Watton Tennis Club have are a very friendly organisation & welcome players of all standards.
We invite new members to join us at a few of our club sessions free of charge to see if they would like to join.
Our current membership charges are £60 per adult & £27.50 per junior under 16. We also offer Family & Student membership rates. Once a member you are able to use the courts at any time.
We play league matches throughout the summer for this those that are interested in a more competitive game.
We are hoping that we will have coaching available from the 2016 season for both Adults & Juniors.
